Our mission is to help people sleep better. We strive to make people's sleep count for more using innovative technology, detailed design, and proven science and data to personalize and improve each night for every body.
Founded
Eight was founded in 2014 by Matteo Franceschetti, Massimo Andreasi Bassi, Andrea Ballarini and Alexandra Zatarain. The company is backed by Y Combinator, Stanford University's StartX fund, and other notable investors in Silicon Valley.
Launch
Eight launched on January 2015, with a successful pre-order campaign. In just few months, the company sold over 6,000 units of the Eight Sleep Tracker to customers in more than 70 countries.
Headquarters
The company is based in New York, with offices in San Francisco and Shenzhen, China.
